I received a press release from Zoran Thursday that also announced that all of his fiction will be (re)released in English translation by Cadmus Press, including the third volume in the Papyrus Trilogy, Compendium of the Dead. Need to get this, as it’s the only work of his I haven’t read yet. Too bad I can’t see him at the fair, being an ocean away and all, as he really is one of my favorite writers and a wonderful human being as well.
Yes! I have seen the news about Cadmus, also! Luckily the Papyrus Trilogy is being released here and the third volume is, accordingly to the publisher, already on his way (maybe in September).
He is also one of my favorite writers ! I have almost everything he has written (in portuguese or english – PS Publishing, Aio and Kurodahan) and i’m hopping to get a signature in several of them !

Excellent! It’s going to cost me almost $40 to import that on from Serbia, but like I said, I want to complete my collection. If you get a chance, could you please say hello for him from me? I probably should email him soon, if I can ever find more than a spare minute these days. Have fun at the signing!
Of course ! I will send him your hello ! Anything you want me to ask? Thank you ! I’m sure i will have fun !
If it’s not too late (time zones and all), maybe ask him how he explores death in relation to literature? I’ve noticed that most of his fictions seem to approach death (and memory) in a different fashion than most contemporary writers. I’d say get him to draw a squirrel and hold it up for a photo, but that might be too much of an inside joke for him to understand 😛
Again, I’m slightly jealous that I don’t get to be there to meet him in person. Maybe in the future.
During this week i will publish some videos and photos 🙂
